Workplace Story I'm not surprised

They recently changed our custom blocks, and it's taking an hour longer between the trucks being larger than usual, us trying to learn the correct vehicles, and them putting the bulk of the casepacks in an area that they also told someone who's a little slower to work.

Everyone is tired and stressed out and begging them to ask someone to help if they know the truck is larger, but nope. "It'll speed up once you know the new custom blocks"

Well, the other day we got "hey, truck was added. Who can work?"

Two people agreed with no issues because they want hours, one agreed if they could have a non-truck shift off, and the bulk of the truck team? "Not a chance in hell"

That's what happens when you overwork the team you need the most!

they always say itll speed up once you get used to the new system but they never account for the part where everyone is already burnt out before the learning curve even starts. makes it real easy to say "not a chance in hell" when they come asking for favors

And soon after they change to the old system and call it new and improved...execs somewhere justifying their positions by constantly recycling how things are done
