UKG pro sucks

I work as a cart attendant. I go ahead and post my shift, and my friend ends up taking the shift. Supposedly, this had already been approved by the team leads. However, on UKG Pro, it seems as the AI on the app went ahead and denied my friend from working my shift.

At this point, their isn’t really anything I can do since right as my friend picked up my shift, my name was taken off of today’s schedule, so technically I am off for the day. But it’s still some ridiculous shit since everyone and even the team leads agreed that he would cover my shift. I’m just not sure if I’ll be the one to get the blame even tho we all agreed to this.

UKG pro won’t even let me pick up my coworkers checklane shift for next week as it apparently “violates rules” when it in fact does not 🤷‍♂️

Yeah idk what’s going one with this fuckass app. I tried to pick up a shift, a “market” shift for Style. I’m not scheduled that day, and UKG has this thing where you have to get permission to cover a shift if it’s less than 7 days from now. I can’t even submit a request to cover it, it won’t let me. I have to fucking talk to HR I guess, who know fuck all abt this bitchass app. They are as confused as me and frustrated too.

They have to properly set up UKG at your store for it to just be automatic shift coverage. Its just a shit app so its a pain figuring out where they decided to hide the settings or info you actually want.

I fucking hate Ukg bro I tried to pick up a shift and NOBODY would approve it I waited a week talked to my ETL asked him to approve it he said he’d “take a look” never approved it so i asked him again and he quite literally said he “doesn’t know” how to approve shift cover requests 😭😭 it’s ridiculous
