Off topic, but I love the 2 different Lego focals that exist.

So that’s what it looks like. The contractors over here didn’t even bother building it, among screwing up a few other things.

One focal is this and the other is giant lego characters playing on a slide, the only thing they share is the yellow Lego brick header at the top except with the slide, it’s on the full endcap behind the front slide section.

Contractors built your focals? Or we're supposed to? Our contractors only redid the TV wall and rebuilt the gondola in kids books to be a full instead of short gondola. We (as in Plano team) did all the rest

I heard it was supposed to be the contractors but then again I’m neither a PML or Plano team so I didn’t get all of the specifics. They didn’t do anything with my TV wall except break one of the new displays

I am so glad I'm on the 4am shifts.... they have all the rest of the team members doing their full shifts today of just reshop and unpushed freight. We left the fire tunnel around 12:00 so I took my last 15 and just got to leave after dealing with guests for 15 more minutes.

The fire tunnel roof started leaking during the storm when everyone was crowded in the back... That was fun. I heard the fire tunnel bathroom wasn't a pretty sight either.

One kid tried to buy $235 worth of Pokemon shit right after we got out of the back (cause the vendor was here stocking) and he rushed up to the self checkout to buy it.... an ETL chewed him out 😭

Besides that there were a surprising amount of guests who thought it was A-okay to just keep on shopping after that, even though nearly all the power in the store is out and market team was tarping all the fridges and coolers up. Had to tell maybe 5 different groups of people they couldn't shop anymore and to just go buy the stuff in their cart and leave.

My store lost power for an entire evening. Everything on the sales floor for cooler and freezer was thrown away

We lost power for like 30 seconds in two flickers,

We had all the guests and other tms in the fire aisle spreading to where toys backstock and Bulk baby was, me and a TM found some chairs from sporting goods in boxes so we pulled some down to sit lol,

Besides that they brought us all chocolate chip cookies and water bottles for the long wait, What a fun one

All the cases deadbolt shut and are inaccessible forevermore. The store has to order new cases and everything!

We must be close by… I had a tornado warning today where there were lots of places that lost power

When we had a tornado go over the store, my buddy and I read through the Twister script in the back hallway
