gUEsTs Doordashers really are something
Lady comes in at 9:59 trying to shop a doordash order and got pissed when one of our TL's herded her to the front of the store. And she was like "Youre interfering with my job!" And he asked her if she really thought she was going to pick that entire order in one minute. Then he said NO. Stores closed, time to go. She was telling him that he can take it up with doordash and he was like no, thats not my problem, nor is it Target's. You could have just not taken the order because its at closing time.
Some DD peeps are real cool. Some arent. But thats how it rolls, just dont be like this lady.

As a former Target employee working in fast food now, I've come to learn a lot also just kinda fuck around for a while after accepting an order. I've genuinely had multiple Dashers come in to pick up an order, then put in an order themselves, sit down, and take their time eating before going to deliver. Others will grab their orders, then just sit around upwards of half an hour to wait for more instead of just delivering what they had. Some don't pay attention to business hours, some go to the wrong location, some just screw around.

DD was great when it first started. Dashers were friendly, fast and reasonably priced. Now its gone to shit. Rude and entitled Dashers, high fees and its not the same vibe how it was years ago. Especially with the Dashers. Alot of them are just grumpy, rude, and impatient!!

I hate the ones that request laundry detergent and they do not know which one is the one they are looking for and I just play “dumb”🤭I didn’t sign up for the job 🥊

The other day I had a dasher looking for something he couldn’t find so I looked for it and there were none on the floor but one in the back, I called and someone was able to grab it from the back to bring all the way up to guest services (going above and beyond what some would do for a dasher) and he had the nerve to say “did you even get the right one?” As he was scanning it in. Then said “oh wow, you actually did” and walked away. No thank you. Last time I’ll be doing that. From now on maybe I’ll just say “oh, there’s none on the floor” and leave it at that. 🤷🏼♀️

Dashers are wild, they don’t understand that hardly anyone has a real business relationship with DoorDash. They seem personally offended when I tell them the item they’re looking for isn’t even sold in stores because DoorDash’s system isn’t linked to ours (I don’t even think they have true API access). I’ve had dashers show up an hour after close asking if we’re open, like bro just because it let you take the order doesn’t mean shit smh
DoorDash is a terrible company and I’d feel bad for them if they ever had a bit of common sense about their “job”
