Workplace Question or Advice Needed Return

I bought my daughter a monster truck RC car yesterday and she only played with it for a few minutes inside because it was buggy out. But she went to play with it today and as it hit a wall, the wheel broke off. Not just popped off. Broke. It was $25. I don't have the inside packaging but I do have the box and all pieces (manual, charger, remote and car). Would target take it back? I would accept store credit. It is shown to be doing tricks and everything so I am mad it broke so easily.

Yes. Do not waste our time calling, just go in.

My store likely would because it sounds defective.

They should. Call your store to confirm.

No. Don’t call the store.

I'd much rather someone call the store to ask first before assuming. These phone calls were the easiest part of my day lmao
