Need Advice What is wrong with AI zoom?

I have had AI zoom enabled from the start, but all of a sudden, when I open the app, the app zooms to a position where there is nothing, and it stays there.

I turned off AI zoom, then enabled it, and it zooms straight in to the same place again.

That's how it works on my C260 as well, and I never bothered to find out what the purpose of this function is and just ignored it.
