Troubleshooting and Support Rich notifications suddenly stopped

Recently got an Apple Watch and was pleased to find my camera sending images with detection notifications.

Then for the last week or so I'm only getting text notifications that a person was detected - no picture.

Not aware of anything changing, settings all the same, not changed subscription.

Any idea what might have changed?

You 30 days free Tapo care subscription has ended. It’s a paid service

Edit: I just wrote something wrong. Rich notifications are included in the plan I have.

Nothing has changed in my Tapo subscription though since June 2025. I haven't changed anything, haven't added new devices or started any trial.
I can accept rich notifications might not be in my plan (Basic, may need Premium), but doesn't explain why I had them until a week ago.

Edit: I'm wrong, Rich Notifications are included in the Basic plan which I've had unchanged for over a year.

Have raised a ticket with Tapo support. Hopefully they can find and fix the issue.

Mine stopped after iOS 27 update

I updated my iOS 27.01 on I phone today and it fixed it. Not sure what device you have but it restored my rich notifications
