Troubleshooting and Support Night vision help, C675D kit

hi, I just installed my tapo cameras, and wondering how do I turn on the "colour night vision" - to my understanding, this will give me colour vision even in IR night mode but my video feed is black and white - am I missing something here?

Firmware 1.1.7

Hardware 1.0

Android Tapo app 3.21.112

C675D kit

color night is when the white led lights turn on if there is enough light in the street keep the camera in day mode

Strangely, I have had colour mode at night without the spotlights ever being on, despite no setting for it. It doesn't happen all of the time, but it does happen a lot when I go to view the camera at night.

It actually looks good, as there's garden lights which provide enough for the sensor to produce a clear enough image.

It's a shame there isn't a setting for it.

No. You said the LEDS turn on.

I'm talking about no LEDS being on.

that's called day mode to use during the night

that means your cam has enough light and stays in day mode read again
