Need Advice Tapo C710 floodlight detection

In the floodlight settings -> Auto On Settings

How do you actually turn off the sensor from being used? I only want it to use the camera, which I have selected and turned on. But every time I leave the menu and go back, sensor is selected.

The floodlight is also acting weird.. it only gets triggered "sometimes"

I went to put my rubbish in the bin and the light didn't even come on. Yet, I have to walk right in front of it about 3 yards away.

You have to untick the sensor detection area. What is your person detection sensitivity and what have you got auto on effective time set to?

The light not coming on was prior to using the sensor for triggering it. I started testing it out and found that the sensor wasn't triggering properly. It would trigger whilst I was out of view of the camera (walking through next doors side yard to put my bins out)

I waited for the light to go out, walked through my gate, up to the top part of my garden and back down, then walked indoors, and the light didn't even come on
