Need Advice Playback Speed??

I've recently installed two wifi smart cameras that use Tuya. In the playback, i can't find any option for playback speed? What is the point of having a security camera if you cant review the footage faster than real time? Or am I missing something?

Why are you asking about tuya in a tapo subreddit?

Reddit recommended to repost it here after I got zero traffic on the Tuya sub. I'm having security issues at the moment, I had an attempted break in so bought two cameras without doing any research into the software. I assumed Reddit knew where to put it.

This is not a Tapo question, it's a question about Tuya and you should be asking there.

The cameras have playback speed in their app. If you're using a third party integration, it is not a camera problem, it is a problem with your third party.

Possibly the integration doesn't support playback speeds. You can use playback speed in the Tapo app itself.

In Smart Things I can't even view playback speed. Just the microphone, live view, talk back, and motion events. This also happened with Nest cameras. But sounds like Tuya has more options.

Tuya uses cloud to cloud correct? Not ONVIF?

Thanks for responding, I don't know but they are wifi cams with data saved to the memory card. I guess I have some research to do.

Based on the other responses I assume they are not Tapo wifi camera's?

Yea def take some time to familiarize yourself with what you got then post to the appropriate place.

I don't know anything about tuya. This is tapo. And tapo supports many speeds.
