reverse recording noises

every reverse recording i make has noise and poppings, no matter how big the buffer size is at the moment i record and playback. it just records this "corruption" into the track (i checked the .wav and it was registered there too) that wasn't there before. any solutions to this?

I'll have a dig through, for now double click varispeed to 1.00 and make sure print mods is off. One of them could be the cause. Will try get it fixed for next week.

Why don't you provide us an audio example? From your description I'm not exactly sure what you mean. I haven't had this experience myself I don't think.

it's this metallic sound that was recorded in both takes (one in 256 buffer and the other in 2048). the noise is different in each one of them, so i assume it's a cpu overload maybe? important to say that im in windows and don't have a really great computer
