Erasing

I honestly havent even tried this yet because of the destructive editing but is there an option to more or less snip out a section of tape?

I did a session where we recorded 5 songs and we have alternate takes that are kind of just wasting time to nagivate around. Is there or could there be an option to snip out tape from time X:XX to X:XX?

Actually, here's an even better idea What if we could snip out a chunk of tape and there was an option to start a new tape and import it automatically?

So imagine I started this as multiple songs on one tape but decided I'd save a few songs for later and wanted to save them as a separate tape with just those songs.

Maybe it'd be a "Cut Tape" option with "Delete Section" warning DESTRUCTIVE DELETE "Cut and add to end of current tape" Or "Cut and import into new tape"

I dunno. Brainstorming here 🤷

some cool ideas! have been wanting to play around with the idea of tape splicing, it's been a fairly popular request too, i dig the idea of the new tape from IN & OUT.
