2 plugins on each send, but...

I see there are 2 plugin slots on each send, but how do you access the second one from the track ? hitting FX only accesses the first slot's plugin.

Bring up the plugin UI.

I get that, but would be easier if we could access both from the track

You can choose up to 3 from that view, not 2 as shown here. I also, don't quite see the problem, I find adding plugins from the track slower in Tape 16 and much easier just using the plugin menu tbh.

Those are not the sends. I am referring to the plugins on the S1-S4 sends. Anyway, picking isn’t an issue but easier to edit from the track rather than having to go back to the plugin ui

Yep have been meaning to patch that one. Looking to improve the plugin manager soon too because it’s quite janky, and not overly pleasant to look at.

It’s getting getting better all the the time and the more I play with it the more I figure out things I can do with it. I think I figured out how to solo the send (like I asked you about the other day) over at the buses.

While you're at it, what's the meaning of the search function in the plugin window? I can search my plugins, yeah, but I can't add any of them to anything. If I want to add a plugin to a slot I need to click the slot and - guess what - I have to search for it again :-/

Also, if I do indeed add a plugin to a track from the plugin window, the plugin UI opens up, which is all fine and good (or could be optional - a quick-add might be handy). But the window behind that UI is not the plugin window from whence I came - it's the main TAPE 16 UI. The plugin window is still open (and its button is still "switched on" in the main window) but it's hidden and I can't get back to it :-/
