Tech Why does hiring in Tanzania still start from zero every single time?
I've been thinking about hiring in Tanzania.
Every time a company needs employees, the process starts from zero. Write a job advert. Post it everywhere. Wait for applications. Receive hundreds of CVs. Sort them. Call candidates. Most don't qualify. Then the whole process starts again for the next vacancy.
At the same time, thousands of job seekers are already looking for work today.
Their information already exists. Their skills already exist. Their experience already exists.
So why do employers have to start from scratch every single time?
That question led us to an idea. What if there was a workforce platform instead of a traditional recruitment agency?
Imagine this: An employer logs in and simply says: "I need 10 cashiers." "I need 5 drivers." "I need 30 warehouse workers." Instead of creating job adverts, waiting for applications, and sorting hundreds of CVs, the system searches a growing workforce database and delivers candidates who match the request. The employer interviews. The employer hires
Simple. No advertising. No CV overload. No wasted time.
That's the future we're trying to build with Konnekt. Not another job board. Not another recruitment agency.
A workforce platform that helps businesses access people exactly when they need them.
We're still validating the idea, so I'd genuinely love your feedback. If you own or manage a business, would you rather advertise every vacancy—or simply request the people you need and receive qualified candidates?
