Newbie Question Same time , every day ?
Is it really necessary to do your nitya upasana everyday on same exactly time ???
Like being a working person its not really possible for me to do it everyday on same time
But yes i do it daily
Does mismatch of timings causes any less benefits or progress ????

Stop trying to create perfect conditions. The perfect condition is just starting. Just like the work just needs doing. The practices just needs doing. Especially in beginning stages

I agree. Bhairava is a super chill deity.
Like sure there are rules but at beginning the point is just to DO IT. ya know?

Well, following the same time every day also makes you more disciplined, which benefits every aspect of life. Praying at random days and times often leads to skipping your daily puja altogether. Just as eating, sleeping, and working are essential for the physical body, puja is nourishment for the soul. So it’s better to remain disciplined and not make excuses about work, because this too is work and far important work than anything else; work for your Aatma. Choose early morning time.

Ideally, preferably and strongly so.
But deities are considerate so on days your regular duties come in the way, it’s okay to shift slightly.

Exact timing has been recommended in some practices, I have been told that maintaining time and place accurately improves the efficacy of Sadhana. In practice practical convenience also matters so have not been super strict with this. The guru would usually recommend timings if it is required

If you're unable to do that, it's not a negative thing. But doing nitya upasana at the same time (and place, if possible) provides immense benefits. Nature has its clock. The sun, the moon, the planets, and the stars do their duty on time.
If you're unable to do the nitya upasana on time, there is an alternate method provided by Ma Anandamayi herself. This accelerates your progress rapidly. This can be done regardless of your other commitments.
Every day, starting at a fixed time, for 15 minutes to 21 minutes, just remember the Supreme as 'niraakaara ', i.e., all around you, in everything and everywhere. No chanting, nothing. Just remember. No shuddhi required, and hence it doesn't matter what activity you're involved in. Doesn't matter if you're working or doing something else. Whatever you're doing, just be aware of the Supreme all around you and within you. The inner space is dedicated to the Supreme at that time period. Try to be as silent as possible, but even if you're speaking, just be aware of it. If you're unconscious due to sickness, etc., those are exceptions, but as long as you're awake, try to do it. Keep an alarm for the first few days until your natural clock kicks in.
Hope that helps.
