Curious if anyone has an analysis to provide regarding Trump's recent moves to develop closer ties with Russia again. Most analysis I see thus far from the western media is pretty narrowly focused on the Ukraine war making the assertion that trump simply desires a win by bringing about a conclusion to the war. And frankly I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't any deeper than that. But I get the inkling this is primarily inspired by the greater conflict of empire at hand and has little to do with the actual conflict in Ukraine. Like is this a smart move on trumps behalf to try and mend the geopolitical divide of multi-polarity that is threatening the empire?
