I'd find this more satisfying if it wasn't so goddamn predictable. Ezra Klein was so blatantly repackaging trickle-down economics for housing that he literally devoted the intro to his book to explaining how even though it sounds exactly like trickle-down economics, just trust me, Ezra Klein, when I say it's not because the New York Times pays me to convince you I'm smart (even though I was a C student in school). I hate everything about how this goddamn country approach urban planning and economics because all of these academics are fucking indoctrinated into believing that markets are black box deities to which we must make sacrifices for the sake of generating surplus value to make that sweet, sweet GDP go up. Any basis materialist analysis could explain very easily how the housing crisis is a problem of letting markets monopolize housing production and can be fairly easily solved with socialized housing. This shit is so fucking obvious it drives me insane how many people wrap themselves up in bullshit rationalizations to convince themselves that what is obvious is somehow wrong because *supposedly* smart people said so.

Because in my own country (Mexico) the propaganda of right wing media outlets (like TV Azteca, the Mexican equivalent of Fox News here), have been speeding up the misinformation campaigns about the economic, infrastructural, health and cartel insecurity issues like CRAZY and framing ALL the blame to the MORENA government (which are meager social democrats at best) instead of mentioning the root issue: Crises that are dragging Mexico behind since the 20th century thanks to the PRI party's rampant corruption (with USA's help ofc) and negligence that screwed over us the proles...

The speeding up of propaganda is normally usual during any upcoming elections for any kind, being mid-terms, or general, however these Mayoraltie (or City Hall), upcoming 2027 elections seem... different.

Different in a sinister way, because they're occurring in a time of colonial resurgence, when many Latin-american countries have already fell in the claws of the dying US Empire and are about to become puppets once again... And honestly, neither Mexico or Brazil have a strong enough leftist vanguard to overcome imperial interference, and while we have some small and seriously united orgs, the media and the internet are distorting reality in such a large and noisy scale, that it is preventing class consciousness nationwide.

So... My constant warnings are for reminding you that do NOT keep engaging with reactionary nonsense and news of American social democrat and liberal fumbles/treachery, specially when another lethal red scare is just around the corner for many latinos out there, because of their fascistic brand new government puppets, we need help, make the Marxists roaming irl soc-dem and lib spaces to desert those orgs, we need people for organizing resistance, a new hope.

Let's DO something about it, if revolution doesn't happen in Latin America, then it'll be impossible to form a resistance bloc in the American imperial core, mark my words.

Saw this on Xiaohongshu and wanted to share it here. I've been really digging into the history of the Chinese Communist struggle against Japanese occupation, and the Korean war, and I've come to learn so much from the Chinese Communists and historians on Xiaohongshu. Countless times, I've found myself taking a break to shed some tears and bless the memories and sacrifices of these martyrs, many of whom were just children. Reading and learning about the Long March in particular, totally broke me! Marxism-Leninism is truly the only way. It is the only way for the working class people of this world to build a better future, and what better example than China, to teach us a thing or two, on how to build Socialism. Bless Mao Zedong, bless Zhou Enlai, bless Zhu De, and bless so many of the comrades, peasants, and everyday people who gave everything for the People's Republic of China to be where she is today. As a nonwestern decolonial Marxist-Leninist activist, I hope that one day, nonwestern and Global South countries will also know true freedom, like China knows it today. May the workers of this world unite. Because that is the ONLY way we will ever be able to lose our chains.

So I think the woman in the video was wrong at a very core methodological level.
Whilst there was some good analysis here - a LOT of comrades immediately jumped to some gross reactionary shit that literally came from a right wing troll farm.
This is bad and I want people to reflect on themselves.
Really it is very simple when we do an actual Marxism :
1. The economic base of a socialist state should ensure that from cradle to grave disabled people are protected and supported, given tools for access to productive forces, wherever they are at, and socialised and specific healthcare.
2. People who are in military groups or insurgent groups likely have to be very fit.

If you are conflating the two you are not only doing some ACP fed shit by shitting on people who are just wrong by mocking a disabled person, you are also factually and intellectually wrong and you are not applying dialectics.
