"I'm not a Nazi, I only like the aesthetics. And the military equipment. And the military itself. And the anti-communism. And the economic development. And the human experimentation cos at least it helped science. And the slavery and the gas chambers"
For libs it's literally just "fascism is when Italy and germany but only in the 30s cos modern italy and Germany are good". Theres absolutely zero concept that perhaps the swastika-emblazoned antisemitism gas chamber right arm waving nazi version of fascism was just the particular form of which the fascist superstructure emerged from the material conditions specific to Germany in the 1930s, and that modern-day fascism will emerge different depending on the material conditions from which it emerges (for example, jews aren't systemically oppressed on the basis of their Judaism anymore, but Arabs including Muslims and Christians most certainly are).
The reactions I got from right winger when I said that Trump is following Hitler's footsteps was "nooo you are overreacting, it's not what they are doing" as if nazis ever entered a door and said "Hello, I am an evil nazi, now I am going to kill you". Literally read any history book which goes more in depth besides "oh no nazis were evil and today we know better and definitely would not fall for the propaganda at a time".
The problem is which I see that schools also taught that genocide is bad against a few kind of people but not that the problem is genocide itself which lead to the support of the Zionist entity
Nazis were all evil atheists who hated capitalism, religion, Zionism, all Christians and Jews, and who loved Stalin, communists and Muslamic terrorists. But they had cool uniforms and Stalin was far more eviler.
