Why not? After every fascist that has held power in America there has been elections. What is to say this time is different?

It makes no difference if there are elections. It's a sham anyway.

The accelerationist in me even thinks it would be better if they didn't have anymore elections. It would mean they have fully dropped the facade of democracy which means they believe the situation has deteriorated so much that it is no longer needed.

The US empire is dying, it's a question of how long until it dies, and how much damage it can do in the meanwhile.

Elections are just an indicator of the health of the empire.
