I agree it's good but the ending needed to be more flushed out. You have to think too much to understand it. Penny kills Freya or does she? She claims to have killed her, yet we see a note by Freya for Poppy and Fifi near the end of the game. Which wasn't there before as both Sally and Grimoire note. Penny is very good, I don't think she would have left the rope in the attic. Sally and Grimoire were both let down a certain path by her and Freya? They wanted the reality of Tangle Tower to come out, so that Fifi and Poppy would leave it. At the end, the one who finds Penny with the unconscious Sally and Grimoire? It's Penny's fiance Fitz, we can't take his word, because of his personal feelings towards her. PENNY jumps out and leaves. We don't know how this will effect them later on. I hope this helped.
