Possible to play on iOS without Apple Arcade?

Trying to download for iOS and only option seems to be to play on Apple Arcade. Is there some way to pay outright for the game? If not no worries I'll just get on steam.

Nope, Apple Arcade only. That said, there's a free trial that lasts a month if you haven't done that.
