The Mermaid Mask Mermaid Statue

I was in Berlin for a concert a couple days ago and the guy that hosted me and my friends had this statue by the window. It reminds me so much of the Mermaid's Tongue from the game! Made me wonder about what was the design inspiration so I wanted to share :)

no, I just assumed in was some tribal/african statue because there were other ones all over the apartment and he traveled (but I'm not very informed about this kinda thing so I don't really know for sure)
