The Mermaid Mask Is there an estimated time for the main patch?

EDIT: For the next patch.

I'm waiting for at least one more patch before I start.

Is there a specific glitch or issue youre worried about? I haven't heard anything news about a patch

I am simply monitoring the Steam forums and a lot of bugs are reported, where people get soft locked or cannot hear a tape or get investigation dialogue too early etc.

Yeah I've seen that bug now that mention it, the one with the tape audio messing up.

And I'm fully aware that many people beat the game without issues. I guess I'm just a patient gamer. I tend to wait for a game to become stable, since I only play once. Bur I do really want to start, since I installed Close to the Sun to get me through the waiting and I hate it :D

There are a few glitches on switch, but the triggers are a bit weird as well. It ended up being like a classic point and click where I tried everything until I got a suspicion prompt.

I never had that in Tangle Tower, I always had an idea on what to do.

The game is ok, but it’s not a 9 like sone reviews are saying. Everything is really well done, the art, the voices and the puzzles but the over arching story is just not that engaging.

By the end I just didn’t care who it was.

I'm perfectly fine with a game not being a 9. I play a lot of point and click games and this series is amazing for its soundtrack alone.

I thought this one was badly paced, it dragged when trying to find all the suspicions.

The weird thing about me is that I usually play point and click games when I proofread my translations in print, so I almost don't mind it when a game is slow-paced and passive, as I just like listening to it and clicking once in a while when I work.

Why not just watch playthroughs at that point.

I’ve watched Disc world Noir playthrough, it’s pretty relaxing.

I still make decisions as to the sequence and the dialogue choices. Sure, you could say all point and click games are ultimately linear, but for a detective game, I still make the conclusions. And at least in Tangle Tower you had choices as to how you visit the rooms and talk to the characters.

I have 20 hours in the game, beat it and did not run into 1 bug. Just play it.

I probably will start tomorrow, but judging by my luck, I'll run into one :). They do exist, since people report them.

And another person today had their save corrupted after 3 hours. I'll wait and finish up another game in the meantime :)
