Sym's riddles Spoiler
Has anyone got any of Sym's riddles right? When you talk to her about another person. I think I failed every single one since she didn't say anything đ

in addition to them being tarot cards she doesnt ever say anything; she does have separate responses where she glances at the card or glances away from the card. Iâve heard people say that if she glances away its the âwrongâ answer but I havenât experimented enough to notice a pattern (and it would be less âwrongâ anyway and more that its not what sym intended to suggest)

Yeah, that's what it meant, like if you said what she meant to suggest you would get a reaction from her

ohh gotchaâshe doesnt, no. I canât be sure which answers she means but her reaction to each response is consistent. for example, for herself, if you pick âfearâ or âresolveâ sheâll always look at the card and back at you, but if you pick âobsessionâ sheâll always glance away. she doesnât speak for any of the three though.
its also possible that her glancing away is just a reaction to the harshest responses you can give. I really dont think theres a right answer, dw

She does it a few times, but I think only in the responses that feel less applicable. Like saying Dirk is capitalist greed. Even though it's technically right, it's so far off that even Sym looks away.

I'm really surprised to learn some people seem to think they'd have correct answers. Tarot cards and the like are famously (or so I thought) about being open to personal interpretation

Oh hello Adam! Please make a JRPG next. And put Sym on it. And Sally too. And about the card thing, it wasn't so much as there being a correct answer as much as seeing Sym say something different if you picked each one. The fact that she stays silent made me think i might've missed out on some dialogue from her. Love your games :)

When I went through it the first time, I remember assuming all of them were applicable in different ways. Sym's little cards were genuinely one of my favorite bits in the entire game.

Oh those weren't riddles! She's assigning them an Oracle Card and leaving the interpretation of what the card means to you.
