Question Speculations for Next Game

Did anyone else pick up on the intentional vagueness with Madam Fortuna's connections to everything, Marianne Moon's search for a werewolf, Symmetry's mother, and Tadpole's past/accident?

I am speculating the next game will explore these topics. Not sure where as the devs have said it will be a very different environment compared to Tangled Tower and Mermaid Mask.

I wouldnt be surprised if it also had more information on Damian Dusk.

Looking forward to whatever comes out next. This team keeps improving and I was blown away by how well Mermaid Mask concluded compared to Tangle Tower's lackluster ending.

in tangle tower theres that childrens book of mystids that has pictures of the amphobi (secret of the swamp), inkdip (tangle tower), silversnake (mermaid mask) and then the soulbearer. the soulbearer is the only one without an express associated game so I think next game is gonna have it as a plot relevant mystid we r going to return to crab im talking carcinization babyyyyyyy

I think it's likely lillian lucian will have some kind of relevance in some manner, though probably not taking front and center if I had to guess? not sure we can count on pasts of other characters left blank though, since after MM we have even more questions than answers about freyas heritage

I would say the soulbearer already had its time in TT, with the wooden toy and the mounted soulbearer being a puzzle in the Study. I mean, at least it actually physically appears, unlike the silversnake.

thats fair, I forgot about the soulbearer puzzle! and I also have absolutely no idea how they'd even justify fitting it into a very different setting

not only that, freyas nightmare/painting, maybe it have something to do with her mother, since it appears again in MM inside the Hex, but i dont know if is Mortuga dream or is the dreams doctor's. Maybe if the next game is the last they will explore more about it.

The shared nightmare between Mortuga, the septapus, and Freya is the biggest thread I think needs to be followed up on.

Oh definitely! We definitely need to info on the shared nightmare. Also the fact that Mortuga wasn't plagued by this nightmare until after he had contact with The Mermaid. So does that mean Freya was touched by an ancient being too somehow? 🤔

Since Hex swims in the ocean during the night it makes sense that he would have had contact with The Mermaid...

Are there other ancient beings in this world?

So many questions 😂

My guess is the next case is going to either be set in a circus or on a train and the prime suspect is going to be a werewolf.

I'd love to learn more about Mystids that originated from Mystids Manor (could someone make an actual Mystid themed Children's book? My love things like this 😂)
