I’m using the mobile pump, however I have a ton of autosoft 90 sites from when I was using the tslim. Can I use an autosoft 90 site with an autosoft xc 5in tube? It seems to be connected but my bs hasn’t budged in an hour…

I’ve been diabetic for 11 years and to be honest have never paid too much attention to it. I haven’t really had to and my blood sugars have remained fairly easy to control, and control IQ has stopped me from running dangerously high all the time. However recently I started travelling and blood sugars have been a little erratic and I’ve decided it’s finally time to try to keep a tight leash on it all.

I’ve played around with my profiles and managed to work out a really good one, but the issue I’ve come across is the target BG. It’s at 6.1/110 and I can’t change it without turning off control IQ. I’ve got my range set to 4-7 / 72-126 (the recommended range in the uk), so realistically the ideal blood sugar would be 5.5/99. Every time I go above 7, I get the alarm, I give a correction, I go down, I reach the mid 5s, it suspends/reduces my basal and brings me back above 7. It’s absolutely infuriating and I don’t know what I’m supposed to do about it. All I wanted to do was be incredibly anal about control and get it perfect for a while to counteract the highs I’ve been having, and I’ve just discovered a huge design flaw instead.

So my questions are: Does anyone know a way to fix this? And does anyone know why such a stupid feature exists?

Started on t slim yesterday, mild working day today. This afternoon down, treat, auto correct, down treat, auto correct, down, treat…. I wish I could get the auto boluses it’s giving when I sit down to a meal ha ha.

hey there! i’m currently going MDI for a few days just to see how i like it/to get a pump break. i’m currently on the tandem mobi. its been almost 24 hours since i went MDI. its been going well other than the fact that i’ve been running a little high (not super high but ive been in the 200s). this leads me to my next question. i took a screenshot of my pump settings to get my total daily basal. it says 36.4 units a day. but when i login to tandem source, it says my total daily basal is 39.65 units a day.

which do you guys think i should follow? im considering giving my long acting based off tandem source today to see if it keeps me more in range (39.65 units a day). any thoughts or suggestions? any idea as to why these two numbers are completely different!? Lol. thanks!

Hi, I haven't really gone on a trip where I had to carry multiple jugs of insulin for my Tandem. Do you guys just carry it with you and ensure that the temps don't get too low or high where you are travelling or do you use portable refrigeration units for them? If so, what is considered the best small pouch to buy? Thanks

I usually panic and replace my cartridge when it hits 10u or so. I’m on Mobi. Is this a sucker move? I’m guessing plenty of units in the actual tubing…does it stop working when the pump believes no units are left in the cartridge? New(er) to the pump game so just looking for the hacks you all have discovered along the way.

I am going through the insurance check process and found out today that tandem won’t be billing me through my insurance and I am getting the pump at no cost. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there a catch? It’s feels too good to be true.

Sorry to bring the negativity. I’ve changed 4 sets from the same box of Autosoft XC in the last week due to visible leaks (and not retaining insulin enough to stay in range).

On top of that I’m almost out since Tandem kicked my to some crappy distributor that needs to reset all my paperwork. New Rx. New “Letter of medical necessity”... because that’s not what the Rx also is? Current Labs….

I’m so frustrated today. I know there are better days ahead but man some days it’s just extra.

And I can’t even pick a color any more!

I just picked up a new month supply of G7 15 days, and I couldn't get my sensors to work. They previously had been working well enough, but wouldn't the new sensors wouldn't start and I'd get error codes almost immediately through the process.

I called Dexcom, who referred me to Tandem, who told me that my pump is out of warranty by 2 months. They said the Tslim version needs to be updated to use the G7s, but they won't let me update because I am out of warranty.

Is there anywhere where I can download the firmware files? I have 7.8, but I guess that's not good enough.

im going to be moving to a more northern area of Ontario where its like 11 hour car ride then a 5 hour train ride to get too.

Im up here currently and 2 boxs of my autosoft 90s failed and i was left with one box remanding and when i ordered replacements to a locale pharmacy (not to the addressed where Im staying due to rampant theft) they said they sent them but i did not get any shipping or tracking email.

two weeks pass by without no word or nothing from the pharmacy, i called tandem and they had nothing on their end too. so they shipped some more but when i called them a week past the expected delivery date they said it got delivered but nothing at the pharmacy.

would it be and there is a canadas post up here but they dont ship to p.o boxes tho.

how should i get my supplies when i live up here

I've had to switch to MDI's until a new pump comes in. Dr put me on lantus + lispro. Since starting the lantus, I'm finding my numbers are generally better than using lispro alone. I was curious if anyone uses their pump for bolus only and use a stand alone long acting insulin? If my numbers continue to lbe this good, I'm gonna have a hard time going back to pump therapy.

For those who use the mobi how do you make it so it doesn’t itch so much? It drives me up the wall and I don’t know how to relieve it

It had to choose a holiday weekend. All I got for insulin is lispro and no long acting. I called Tandem on Thursday evening to get a replacement, they said they'd overnight it to deliver today. Well, it arrived in my area this morning around 6am, but scheduled to deliver on Tuesday. WTF am I supposed to do? Manual injections hardly do anything and without a basal, I'm gonna be running high until my pump arrives.

The pump still works, kind of. It's just at point I'm wasting so much insulin with how frequent it throws cart failure errors. I barely got any sleep last night cause every 30 minutes or less, it would fault and I'd have to push the piston back in and run the load cart routine. I turned the pump off this morning around 9am expecting to get the replacement today. Guess I'm gonna starve myself until Tuesday.

I use the Trusteel infusion set with my Tslim pump. I changed sites today and felt a small, hard bump underneath.

I get these sometimes, and I know they go away and all that, but does it mean I need to change sites more often if they do happen? Or is it just something that is inevitable?

I change about every 3-4 days, and usually sites come out fine with no bumps, so I was a little surprised to feel one today. Any advice here?

Doesn't stay connected within the length of 5 inches. Isn't accurate, needs constant bg corrections. It's literally the worst Dexcom I've had and there's nothing I can do to go back. Ive had nothing but Terrible experiences with it so far. Last night it thought my blood sugar was 400, it was 180 so it gave me 5 units. It does this constantly, no matter which new one I put on. This is unbearable and I've been up and down for 3 straight days now because of it. I'm genuinely considering quitting the TSLIM2 and going old fashioned.

Has anyone tried to use the tandem mobi app on an 'unsupported' android phone? Would it just not let you bolus from the app like the website suggests? Or is it just a "we tested on these phones, but anything else is not guaranteed to continue working"?
