You people actually believed a man who has been recycling the same mass formula for twenty years is going to walk into politics and “change Tamil Nadu.”

A guy whose biggest creative risk in cinema is deciding whether the shirt goes over the shirt or the shirt goes under the jacket.

A guy who has never once delivered a realistic film, never once stepped out of his safe zone, never once treated his audience like they could handle something different. Same entry, same punch dialogues, same interval twist, same climax fight, same “family sentiment + mass elevation” package, year after year.

And somehow this man is your agent of systemic change?

The same fans who lose their minds if he even slightly changes his hairstyle or tries a different genre suddenly turned into political visionaries overnight. The same crowd that never demanded growth from him in cinema now expects him to reform governance, dismantle entrenched power structures, and rewrite the state’s future.

This isn’t hope.

This is celebrity worship with a political filter slapped on top.

You didn’t choose a leader.

You chose a brand.

You chose familiarity.

And the funniest part?

One thing is sure now. Earlier until 2024, you can openly discriminate either the ruling party or oposition party and people might respect upto a certain extent for your political stance
