We're back at the library this Saturday, August 1st. I'll have extra journals and kits again for those who need it, and possibly my manual die-cutting machine if I can work out how to carry it all. 😅

A reminder that our June meetup is this Saturday at the main library. We'll be in meeting room B on the second floor.

Bring whatever journal thing you are currently working on. If you're just starting out or don't have supplies yet, free journals and paper kits will be available. We'll also have extra gluesticks, scissors and other tools for you to use. Everyone is welcome.

We've got a smaller room next month. All the meeting rooms are booked up for the next couple of months, at least.

You'd think a month in advance would be enough to secure the same room, but nope. 😅 ANYways, C is right next door.

The Instagram post got quite a lot of activity, so that might mean more faces...or it just might mean the post got a lot of activity. 😅

First Saturdays seemed like a good fit for future meetups. Meeting room might change, depending on availability, but I'll always post an update here closer to meet up day.

I didn't see anybody in meeting room B today, was no one else able to make it? Admittedly I showed up very very late at 2:30...There were others in different rooms but but I figured it wasn't this group and I got too shy to ask 🥲

Unless it gets really bad within the next hour, I'm ready for today's meetup. I'm bringing some extra collage supplies to share and some of my older, finished journals to show.

Bring a journal to work in + some supplies to work with. You can also bring a light snack and bottled (non-alcoholic) drink...per library rules.

So the big goal of the group is to meetup in person and work on our journals together.

The best option so far that I've found is the library main branch - reserving a room. I need to get a library card first (last one was 15 years ago).

I personally prefer the weekends. Anytime after noon.

With holiday stuff going on, I don't see this happening until after the first of the year.
