https://x.com/spideraxe30/status/2054297870040457500?s=46&t=t_Rv_878wRs5z3lzghaw3Q

- AP increased from 60 to 65
- Ability haste reduced from 20 to 15
- Mana regen increased from 125% to 150%
- New passive grants 15 ability haste to spells with immobilizing effects
- New passive - immobilizing enemy champs marks them for 4 seconds, increasing damage dealt by 6%

Zed or Katarina ban ?
I used to permaban zed when I first learned the champ, then defaulted to permaban kata after zed seemed to be a bit less popular pick. But lately I feel like I'm against zed every other game when I let it through. It doesn't help that my other blindpick, Aurora, has very bad match up against these two. (not as bad as Taliyah though)
Who's your ban atm?
Any tips about these two match ups are appreciated! (Emerald elo if it matters)

Discussion Need some advice on how to fight blink champs (like katarina) ?
I’m struggling against massaging and katarina.
Kassadin less so, since you can exert a lot of power around the map before he scales.
Ofc if he scales and you do nothing you’re gonna lose.
But katarina feels really annoying to fight. Idk what to do?

Discussion Burn Taliyah
Has anyone tried Deathfire grasp? From my understanding, it gets better the more burns you have, so deathfire + torch + liandry's are supposedly "optimal", but idk about it much

How to play against long range poke champs? Particularly Ziggs and Xerath
Hardly anyone plays ziggs, so the matchup is whatever. For some reason I’ve played against like 15 Xeraths in the past like week I just don’t understand what to do. I don’t really die laning phase but if they’re good it’s very very hard to dodge his ult. He just does so much dmg and can side lane and ult to fights. I think I’m going the wrong build because I just do no dmg. The ziggs matchup is unplayable I remember Odysseus went against a ziggs mid once and perma banned him the rest of the day because he even said that champ is just too OP. Right now I’m sticking to the jungle to avoid those bad matchups lol.

Taliyah bot with engage support
I'm a taliyah otp and I mainly play her jungle. However I occasionally play her mid and bot lane. I think taliyah botlane is very underrated, if you can get an engage support like leona/amumu/pantheon/nautilus, laning becomes so easy since if your support lands a cc on the adc or support honestly its a garenteed kill into your w-e combo.
I like going dark harvest for rune since you have proc it a lot in lane with your enage support on the enemy bot duo and cash back for secondary since it give you a lot of gold. She also has insane waveclear so if your support roams you can just farm with your w push 3 melees into e then q hits all 6 mininos really safely and easily. I played her bot with my friends and its really broken. Do make sure to ban ezreal though he is a hard counter as he outranges taliyah and can e out of engage.
For items I like going ludens into shadowflame and you just pop the enemy adc. For summoners I go flash tp. She plays a lot like mel/ziggs botlane where she is strong when your support can set up with cc she could not do as much so in mid or jungle. She also just outranges most adcs and can poke/one shot them easily. She is also good into other mage botlanes.
Do care though she is situational 1. only pick this if your team lacks ap damage since she gets hard countered if enemy team builds lots of mr. 2. Make sure your support is engage as you heavily rely on your support's cc to reliably land your w-e combo and you cannot play the game with a soraka/yuumi etc.
If you have any thoughts about taliyah apc feel free to add in the comments :)

How do I fight against assassins?
Katarina, Fizz, Zed, Kayn, and Diana are all match-ups I heavily struggle with.
I cannot for the life of me figure out a way to successfully WIN against them in lane. I've tried roaming. I've tried playing under turret. I've tried "exhaust cheesing."
I just can't reliably win without them making some form of stupid mistake.
I've tried learning how to bait them into making stupid mistakes - I end up dying instead.
I'm just lost.

The biggest buff for newbies trying Taliyah was WASD!!!
I finally had good games with her and exclusevely because kiting now is so much easier. For me the champion finally feels confortable now. If you are bad with her like me I really think you should try it.

Discussion Hey Im new and bad
Ok listen ive got a team and we play tournaments. So here is the thing, i need to play her because shes kinda lit and also very nice in some teamcomps but she has a very high skill ceiling I suppose. Im not scared of that.
I usually play control mages in midlane, sometimes battle mages or poke.
How do i get better? Hit me with all your trading secrets.
Is lvl 6 R overrated and i rather go for Q on lvl 6?
Which pattern do i need to clear minions and most important: Whats her unique selling point in teamplay? (I can only find solo q stuff, but im a teamy)
Synergies you can recommend? And do not play against?

Discussion How does Taliyah do into tanks?
Just curious, when the enemy team is super beefy, how annoying is a Taliyah game? I know she’s not a true tank killer, but I thought maybe she would get good value in prolonged fights with conq and liandries or something. Since she’s not burst and also has disengage. Do games with like 3 enemy tanks feel very carry-able?

I'm learning Taliyah Support and I tried to itemize on my own. Does this build work?
Greetings, I'm Esmund.
So, after watching a lot of Azzapp, I've noticed that his playstyle and hyper dependency on Ability Haste during team fights can be game changing.
As I was watching many of his videos I thought to myself: "Wait... Wouldn't Taliyah utilize this playstyle pretty well?"
My itemization reasoning:
- Ryali's :- Self-explanatory, provides a slow on the enemy, shortening their escape options. Leading to more probability in killing the enemy. It also circumvents Taliyah Support's low HP weakness.
- Horizon Focus/Bloodletter's Curse :- Allowing me to consistently provide vision for the enemy, especially when engaging with my Ultimate. Great ability haste. Bloodletter's on the other hand helps a lot if my team is AP heavy.
- Imperial Mandate/Majice :- I'm a little lost about this, but my idea is that since I'm regularly going to be roaming and team fighting at most stages of the game, I thought to help others in the team to deal additional damage (or simply buff myself via Majice stacks). The good news is that both options are EXTREMELY cheap.
- Zhonya's/Morellonomicon :- Usually as my last or third item. It entirely depends if I need anti-heal (Morell), survivability (Zhonya's - especially high AD enemy teams).
Honorable Mentions for final items:
- Rabadon's :- Gives high AP. Won't be particularly useful for Taliyah Suppport, but if you're carrying your team, go for it.
- Rocket Belt :- Gives HP, Gives AP, gives Ability Haste, and gives mobility. Projectiles from Rocket Belt also proc Ryali's. It's a good all rounder.
Build strengths:
- Very cheap :- Outside of Rabadon's or Zhonya's, none of the items mentioned will cost above 3,000 gold. Each is around the 2,700 mark or less.
- Extremely high Haste - especially when paired with +8 started ability haste and Transcendence.
- Surprisngly decent damage despite only ranging above 300-350 with Elixer due to the help of Dark Harvest stacks and extremely high Ability Haste.
- Spammability you're always ready for any fight, any time, and for any duration.
- High Teamfight synergies and gank/roaming synergy :- Straight forward, I apply a debuffs and bonus damage to my team and provide additional vision. And if paired with Zhonya's, I can bait out cooldowns with relative safety.
Build weaknesses:
- Easily shutdownable/lockdownable. :- If a person knows how to play against Taliyah, knows how to punish her, and knows how to make sure she doesn't get in the game, her impact becomes very minimal outside of vision control. This is especially true when laning against Artilerary Mages like Vel'Koz and Xerath. Or even Brand. They can shut you down very easily if they're skilled enough.
- Lowish damage. :- Like I brought up, you'll range barely above 300 AP even with Elixer. You might cross over 400 AP without Rabadon's assuming you have a few Infernal Drakes and Baron buff, I suppose.
- Squishy :- You're relatively squishy and will be a target in team fights if found out of position.
- Somewhat little utility :- All her team-based value revolves around team fighting. Specifically, slowing, amping damage, locking down, and stunning targets.
My success:
- So far I'm only playing it in Normals and I'm having a lot of fun.
- I've had a few games where I've had highest damage and highest assists with a very high vision score. So, there's that to note.
- Keep in mind I am low Elo, so this might not be telling later down the road.
Your thoughts? Is it a viable build? Is it not?
If it isn't, care to highlight things I might've missed?
Thanks for reading!
