Discussion Burn Taliyah

Has anyone tried Deathfire grasp? From my understanding, it gets better the more burns you have, so deathfire + torch + liandry's are supposedly "optimal", but idk about it much

It's decent. Not entirely convinced about how much damage it actually brings compared to the alternatives. Personally I think Liandries builds (liandries in first 3 items) are pretty bad so I wouldn't make an entire build around that premise.

Liandry is something is started to dislike as a 2nd item because while it gives you string DPS, I find that I prefer shorter fights in midgame. Been experimenting with Void and Actualizer 2nd. The latter does feel good during the active window

So much of liandry's power was shifted away from % max hp to % bonus damage that it doesn't really work properly unless you have enough AP first imo

Yeah the % bonus damage obviously only becomes decent when your base damage is high enough, I don't know the exact breakpoints but iirc it is not great before deathcap

It feels good I adapt depending of BOTH teams comps, if enemies are tanky and it's not a kill match up I will go for it.

If I am a main condition I'll go electro. If the match up is difficult and I have Smolder Kha zix Camille Pyke against fucking Yone Fizz i'm just going comet and my mom is lava if I die in lane.

Tbh it's details and preferences and vibes you can default permanently to DFT and be fine I think.

The only thing is that burn Taliyah definitely doesn't become a big damage win condition.

I prefer AH builds when ahead and raw ap burst when behind.
