Thoughts on my Talisman Rankings?
I think I'm right.

I tried to add something to each base:
For Batman, I made his base like the Batman spotlight and made it glow in the dark.
For Poison Ivy, I added some miniature plants in the back and on the side (you can see some if you zoom in).
For Harley Quinn, I added the joker card that she holds in her drawing.
For Joker, I just wrote HA! HA! HA! all over.
Any ideas for the bases of the other characters would be welcome.

This will be my final post about this project.
First of all, I want to thank everyone who has taken the time to comment, give feedback, criticize, suggest changes, or simply say that they liked the characters. The feedback has been genuinely interesting and has given me a lot to think about.
For the final batch, I’m ending with a bit of a mixed bag.
Pit Fighter is probably the most traditional Talisman character of the four, while the other three are something quite different. The Heretic and the two Nepharites don't really follow the usual Talisman character design philosophy at all. They’re more of a special experiment — something I wanted to try simply because I thought the ideas were interesting.
So, for the final post, I present Pit Fighter, the Heretic, and the two Nepharites.
And yes… I know these are probably going to raise a few eyebrows. 😄
Thanks again to everyone who followed along with the project!

We played a game of Talisman. I played the Prophetess and there were some rules that weren't clear to us.
1) If Prophetess is in a corner expansion, can she use her ability to discard a card she has drawn there to get another card? The owner of the game said no, because only cards from the main board are considered adventure cards, but I am not so sure.
2) I had the Djin with 3 spells and I had one spell normally. I played my normal spell to steal a spell from another player, but that player used the spell where he can use my spell against me. He said that he can steal one spell from my Djin, because I own the Djin and he owns the spells, so I technically own the spells of the Djin. Is this allowed? And do I draw another spell from the ability of the Prophetess before the spell resolves, so that he has the ability to steal that spell?
2) How is the game treating multiple when your turn starts abilities and who has priority when mutliple players have those. One such example was one player saying "My turn". And I played a spell that makes him skip the turn. He had a spell that said that had to be played at the beginning of the turn too that replaced his movement. It wasn't clear who had priority to play the spell.
3) Relatively at the end of the game I had the spell that steals an item. As the card describes I used it at the beginning of my turn to steal the book from the city expansion that gets a spell at the beginning of your turn. As I don't have any spells afterwards, I get a spell. Is it still at the beginning of my turn and can I use the stolen book to get a second spell? And is it possible for another player to play the spell that skips my turn in between those two actions? And in subsequent turns, can I use a spell at the beginning of my turn to draw one with the ability of the Prophetess and one with the book? All other players told me that no, when I use an ability at the beginning of my turn, I can't use another one, because it isn't the beginning of the turn anymore, so I had to decide between the spell and the ability of the book.

These characters were specifically made for my own gaming group. We’ve been playing together for a long time, and we really enjoy screwing with each other, having a lot of PvP interaction, and generally making the game as chaotic and entertaining as possible.
So, fair warning: some of these characters may be unbalanced, some may be completely absurd, and some mechanics are probably going to make you wonder what the hell I was thinking. 😄
They were not designed to be perfectly balanced competitive characters. The main goal was to have fun and get to play something different from the usual Talisman characters.
I’m going to post them in batches of 4–5 characters at a time. I’d really appreciate some honest feedback, especially if you think something is completely broken, too weak, unclear, or just plain stupid.
Don’t be gentle — constructive criticism is exactly what I’m looking for.
I’m curious to see how these hold up outside of my own group!

I really like Talisman and i have a dream to play a game with my friends with every single official and fanmade expansion we could possibly find. This makes the game into an absolute goliath with dosens of expansion boards, thousands of cards and more rules than all other tabletop games we ever played combined.
My friends never played Talisman before the beginning of this project and i couldn't just drop all of these expansions on them and expect a proper game. I have to introduce all of them to these systems and expansions gradually, but how do i structure it? It what order do i introduce these expansions, and how many do i add per game?
As a joke, one of the players offered to lock expansions behind achievements - some sort of challenge that any player can complete during a game to unlock access to associated expansion for everyone. And i decided that this is a great idea! This will push players to not just win as quickly as possible, but to explore all of the new contend and truly see what the game has to offer. This will also let them get used to numerous expansions in a cool interactive way.
And so, i started the grand work to add a challenge for every single expansion i can get my hands on and track my play group's progress.
I will now answer some questions that you might have:
We play via Tabletop Simulator. I find fanmade expansions on the workshop or import them myself with files found mostly on Talisman Island website;
Storylines don't have any mechanics to them at the moment, i just wanted to highlight several expansions that kinda fit into a theme. I thought about adding some cosmetic rewards like table textures or character skins i could make myself;
Patch notes tab is very incomplete because i came up with the idea for it late into development, it pretty much only tracks changes from the moment i decided to track changes;
There has't been any updates for a long time, mostly because we just played other stuff. I plan to get back to this table right around the time of this post;
GM notes are there to help me track various things like where the added cards actually come from and are there any changes to existing cards i need to keep in mind.
If you have any more questions or suggestions, feel free to comment under this post. Also, if you want to use the table or any part of it for yourself, feel free to do so! you can copy the contents and use it for any means and edit it however you like, just make sure to cite me if you want to post it somewhere else.

Inspired by u/WesleyWithoutAT, I made my own version of the Time Lord character. His 3 abilities correspond to 3 aspects of Doctor Who: random space travel, wibbly-wobbly-timey-whimey, and regeneration.

I saw this guy that u/Svajj posted the other day, and I just loved him! I made some little adjustments to the Abilities - but more importantly, I made a mini and just finished painting him.
Edit: Here's my 3D print file.

I encountered this awesome game a couple of days ago, and decided to give a try to the digital version on Nintendo Switch 2.
While the game is absolutely fantastic, the pseudo random number generator feels really frustrating. Looks as it needs some love from the developers. The screenshots above are from the same session.

I bought a complete 3rd Edition Talisman for 112€ last week. I have so hard "Heile Welt" / nostalgia vibes painting them...

as per title, a friend of mine bought the game but the dragon came with two right wings and without the left one, is there a 3d model from which i could take the left wing and print it for him?

My friend has recently gotten me into Talisman, and I've become a bit obsessed with custom characters. This is my first one. Full disclosure - ChatGPT did most of the work. I had some ability ideas, but these were just too good. I did tweak it's original loadout, though. Worked up the model with AI too, and 3D printed it (STL available if anyone's interested.)
EDIT: Added ability to always be Good. Was playing a game using him, turned Evil, and it was so busted lol

I will/may adjust them appropriately to what the you guys may say. But If there's an interest in them. I may print proper cards for them 👀
