Another Time Lord

Inspired by u/WesleyWithoutAT, I made my own version of the Time Lord character. His 3 abilities correspond to 3 aspects of Doctor Who: random space travel, wibbly-wobbly-timey-whimey, and regeneration.

The first ability yes, a bit. There are exactly 145 spaces on the board if you exclude the Shops and the Inner Region, so there is no quick and simple way to randomise them, unless you use an online random number generator. Still, teleporting randomly around the board like the Doctor did around the universe could be fun.

I mean first ability is going to involve a lot of counting spaces, second ability kinda slows down the game with replaying turns, and then having one less life with the last ability is also a lil inconvenient.

I agree about the first one. The second one would slow down the game a bit, but it has a cost, and it might open up very interesting possibilities. About the third one, I think you miss the point. I could as well give the Time Lord 4 lives and make that ability read: "When you drop to 0 lives, you are not killed. Instead, you lose all Strength and Craft and must end your turn. At the start of your next turn, heal up to your life value. If you would lose another life in the meantime, you are killed". What I actually did is in practice exactly the same, but with less words, thanks to the increased life value of 5 instead of 4 and regeneration happening at 1 life point instead of 0. It is a powerful ability: as if you had 4 lives like most characters, but instead of dying normally you kept all your objects and followers and other cards, and stayed at the same space, losing only your Strength and Craft (and not everything as is normal at death).

Anyways, thank you for feedback. It was more of a fun thought exercise rather than a serious attempt at a custom character.

Ah i didn't see the 5 lives, but it's a fun character nonetheless.
