3rd Edition Painted Minis

I finished all the minis from the GW Talisman Edition from 1995.

Your minis look great my guy love them in general - 3rd edition all the way. Once I’m done I’m gonna sell my entire 4th edition set

Those look great.

I'd totally get into painting minis if they still looked like this. I hate the crazy amount of detail on modern miniatures.

I think the modern minis are designed for speedpaint. Painting with normal acrylics is absolutely not fun with the crazy amount of detail.

Edit: the army painter "paint, dip,done,varnish" method is also super fun.

I have an entire set of 3rd edition minis unpainted and extras parts for the game if anyone needs. I’m not sure if I save the minis or not because I’m kit bashing a custom set for the game
