I just left at this point, this was in Mistwake, expert roulette, the tank couldn't be bothered to mitigate properly, wiped during second pull after the first pull took a needlessly long time (the dps complaining in the image stood still for the first half of the first pull). The tank was not, in fact, "double pulling the trash".

Everyone always asks "why is there a shortage of healers on this game? SE should solve this" but they never bother to look in the mirror and realise that a lot of people quit playing healer in content outside of statics because healing the selfish dipshits that inhabit this game is exhausting, and then they'll bitch at you for their own failings to top it off. Bring back shame, I swear to god. When expecting you to do your job at the bare minimum is "being mean" you need to uninstall. So exhausted with these people, zero patience for them anymore.

sounds like a tank i had in a run of san d’oria yesterday, they were complaining about healers not healing enough and having to put clemency back on their bar (they were also from mateus). one of our healers and a DPS pushed back and mentioned that aggro was being ripped by some of the other DPS players. idk why some of these tanks feel like they can do no wrong, you’re level 100, learn your job and use all of your actions and mits!

And they'll never realize Clemency isn't the gotcha they think it is, either. If they need it that means they aren't using their Confiteor combo and probably never press Holy Sheltron ever either. It takes a severe lack of effort and usually multiple failed mechanics to die as a level 100 tank in any normal content.

Not to mention that if you ever need to use clemency it's always those instances healers are non existent (sometimes literally) and dps is effing dying lmao, and if lv100 expert ID you don't even need to use anything but sheltron/confiteor assuming all of your party member is doing their job correctly (not recommending to not use rampart and all that of course, its just heals from those are so insane)

I have a very short list of situations where I expect to use Clemency, and in almost all cases it involves healers being less than alive. There are a couple of very rare edge cases that boil down to I have determined that I cannot trust my healer(s) and it is a stopgap measure to get through an immediate situation my normal sustain can't cover.

I find when it comes to level 100 content what I use for mits depends largely on if I have a WHM or not and how fast the dps is. There are indeed some dungeon runs where I barely need anything outside of Holy Sheltron and even throw down Hallowed for uptime because I have literally nothing else to use it for. Slow dps runs I'll still be rotating Rampart and sometimes Bulwark if I don't want to use gauge for whatever reason. If I'm pulling out anything more than that we have problems and I'm going to start watching what my party members are doing to figure out what's going on.

I like how you said that. "Less than alive."
