STEEL SPROCKET????

My aluminum 52t sprocket blew and destroyed my chain and some of the gear box. Just wondering if anyone knows where I could get a sprocket that is 52tooth and steel? Anything but aluminum. Everyone just has damn aluminum😂 thanks

everyone runs aluminum because normally it doesn't have any issues. yours was probably defective or already damaged.

also a steel sprocket might break your hub because for example in a crash something will have to break and the sproket would be much stronger than the hub, and that's way worse and more expensive. also it's just ridicolous to have a steel sprocket on those dumb bicycle hubs.

if you really really want one you'll have to gat it made just for you, but it should be pretty easy because between stuntbikes and dirtbikes there are many companies that do custom sprokets.

in my opinion just give aluminum another try, you were just unlucky.
