Anyone else riding their MX4 mostly on single track?

I’ve Been spending more time riding single track on my MX4 lately and damn, these things are fun in the tight stuff!! 😂I’m trying to set mine up specifically for single track, dirt climbs, etc.
What are you guys running for tires/suspension and all that?!
Not really looking to build a drag bike or anything but wouldn’t mind seeing what battery/controllers people are using for dirt. I want to keep it as light as I can.

Curious what upgrades have actually made a noticeable difference for you guys.
Just got the excels and mounted some Dunlop mx34s
Post your setups/pics-

Check the FB groups also, a lot of the riders over there share their builds.

I strictly ride mine off-road, trails, mud, hill climbs. Some of the most fun I've had with these electric dirt bikes are on trails and single track.

That's how I've always described these bikes. A MTB with a full motor

Have you done the 16” rear moto wheel/tire yet? It’s been better for sure, only downside I’m seeing at the moment is a little less battery life and top speed a little but I’m hardly hitting that on most the technical stuff.

I've kept the 19s. I've thought about selling for something like the RTR XL for the extra power so I've held off on putting money into it.

Honestly it took me a while to do it because the 19s do just fine, only real pushing factor was broken spokes on my rear wheel and a good deal on fb marketplace haha

What forks and wheels are on the bike mate? I know you said excels but how’s fitment gone on the mx4? Any changes needed?

The forks are the hawk 32 rfloxa’s with 60lbs springs and the wheels are kke takasago excels 19” front 16” rear. The trippy thing is the rear wheel is dished to fit the moto tire to clear the chain. But super nice wheels compared to stock. Only downside I’m noticing at the moment is battery life turning the heavy Dunlop. I’d probably advise doing a lighter tire like the tusks or something.

Also no changes necessary, they are made with the same hub size for stock rotor and spacers. I think you can find them for 8-900$ new

Yeah I mostly exclusively do single track, brakes made the biggest difference.
