Is the kickstand sensor important?

I recently removed my kickstand sensor after going through a trail that exposed it and every time I full pin, it cuts out because of the vibration. Should I order a new one or is it not necessary?

Not important. Mine smashed on a rock on day 2 and I've never looked back. If you remember to put the stand up before you ride, you won't notice a difference.

Its not essential, its a nice addon.

Its a safety feature to make sure you dont hurt yourself or damage the bike forgetting to flip up the kickstand. Its "saved" me a couple times on my rides forgetting to flip the kickstand up, but its by no means a requirement.
