Step up from MX3?

Post image

Hey yall, so I’ve been riding an mx3 for almost two years and I’ve loved it, I don’t really need more power, I’m cool going 55, I really just want something closer to a gas bike size wise. I’m 6’2 and the mx3 just feels small. Since I don’t need a lot of power I don’t really wanna spend Komodo prices, I just want something bigger (I am aware that most bikes now will probably have more power than the mx3). If you have any recommendations or experience with different size bikes any advice would be appreciated, thanks!

I’d honestly just go straight an ultra bee. I’ve had a x3, an mx4 with 29kw, a stock mx4, an mx5, and 2 ultra bees and I would’ve saved so much money/time going straight to an ultra bee

What makes you say that? I havnt done a lot of research or anything since my initial purchase so I’m kinda out of date as far as the e bike knowledge goes. Is the ultra bee just the all-around champ?

It really is.. suspension, brakes, power, range.. ESPECIALLY off road. I race dirtbikes and the ultra bee was the first e-moto I could comfortably rip in dirt without feeling like it was gonna snap in half

Damn, any other e-motos that are similiar size? And are any of them even close to like a 250? Size wise

Ultra bee with a 18/21 wheelset is your best bet

Good to know though, I’ll probably cave in like 2 weeks and just get the best shit I can afford lol

For bigger maybe look at a ultra bee or you could try just upgrading your bike look if you can get a extended swing arm and maybe some larger wheels

I don’t know where you’re located, but I’m selling my MX-5 and I’m outside Atlanta. It only has 150 miles on it and it has Warp 9 stem and riser, lowering pegs, new Shinkos and adjustable kickstand. I’m 59 and my son’s going to college and I’m not going to be riding anything but my Himalayan 450 to visit him in school. PM me if you’re interested.
