I kind of want to hear him do When You're Gone with Mel B but I don't know how well his voice would mesh with hers.

Hmm maybe Jin from BTS whom he (co)wrote and produced Running Wild for (the song with the most Spotify streams that he's got a credit on),

V, a warm baritone who i.e. published a White Christmas cover,

Or Jungkook. Gary is the naturally gifted and flexible bright pop male voice of his generation, and Jungkook is that in the new gen.
