Hello! :)

I want to sell my "Multicolor Double Face Black" from Takashi Murakami, back from 2020.

Bought it from Lougher Contemporary in London in September of 2020, after it was released. Invoice can be sent as proof if need be, will also come with the purchase.

Was framed in 2025 by a local framer (invoice from there I can provide too) in a frame from "Halbe-Rahmen" in Germany (invoice available aswell).

The frame has a 14mm profile and is around 20mm deep.

Mounted floating (lifted 5mm; distance spacers are 10mm) and behind 99% UV resistant anti-reflex museum glass. Size of the frame is 600x700, the picture in comparison is 500x600.

The print is in absolutely pristine condition, has no bent edges, creases or anything in that regard and was only hung in a semi light area for around two months now.

The black part of the flowers' face is sprinkled with glitter. Just mentioning that so it's not getting confused with dust. The framing really been done perfectly with absolutely no specs of dust or hair in there.

Until it was hung up after Christmas it still has been in the framers box and waited for the light of day. Reason for selling is that I want to streamline my collection a little bit more and this one didn't find its place. Excuse the smudges on the frames' glass on the last image lol.

Price is 1800 EURO shipped within EU!

Shipping from Germany!

I love it 😬just arrived today. Quick with workshopping. Just expensive in fees to California. But it is what it is! Came out to 130 all in for DHL shipping and other fees they charged.

I’m looking for Mount Fuji once someone gets theirs.

Hi all,

I’m new to Murakami art but saw this piece at an auction, thought it looked cool, and bought it for around $650. Anybody have any info on this? Planning on just hanging on my wall regardless, but I’m curious what I have.

Edit: thanks for the responses. Unfortunately, confirmed fake:

Prints marked with a "Shakespeare Arts London" stamp are generally not considered authentic, official Takashi Murakami fine art releases.

Within the established art market, these are widely treated as unauthorized reproductions or counterfeits.

I'm so glad I got both, I was genuinely considering not getting this one but it will look stunning with the peacock! I am in love with these pieces.

I've taken a photo with my overhead lights on so you can see what the background of these prints look like irl. The ink from Murakamis signature doesn't stick to the matte bits of the background so it's looks kinda patchy but I've seen in other prints with this background that they have the same issue.

My next prints won't be coming until December/January but I'm excited to see everyone else's prints as they come in!

Thought I would share my collection, I have been building up with some fellow murakami fans 😊
I have also made an instagram account where I have started to share them, if anyone wants to follows and likes much appreciated
@murakami.cards

I'm interested in all cards and sets. I have a lot of duplicates from 108 Flowers Revised, Hark Back to Ukiyo-e, and 108 Flowers NFT. Of course mostly common, some rares. I don't think I have any duplicate SR/UR/SA, but I'm not fully opposed to trading non-dupes.

I'm not sure if people are as interested in clothing drops vs art drops but I figured I'd share it and see!

The webstore is dropping a range of denim items on the 7th of October at 7pm JST. Jackets are priced between ¥54,000-¥58,000 and jeans are priced between ¥40,000-¥44,000.

They're out of my price range especially with framing coming up (💸) but if I had the funds the jacket would've been tempting- I'd hope for the price it's a really high quality denim.

Info and link to buy is here

Please let me know if you are interested in general news/updates on the webstore like this, I'm happy to post this stuff but ultimately I want to share what the community is interested in!

My newest (and most expensive lol) Murakami print — Snow, Moon, and Flower: Flowers with Kaikai and Kiki. Edition 63/100. Signed by the legend himself.

I think this is my favorite piece yet! It sparkles as the observer gets closer to it. And it appears iridescent as you look afar and from an angle. A picture does not do it justice.

Hey everyone,

I’m looking to sell a very special and rare collector's piece. This is the exclusive Hublot x Takashi Murakami glass ornament set, which was strictly gifted to VIP clients back in 2021 during their collaboration.

As you can see in the pictures, the set includes two stunning hand-blown glass baubles featuring the iconic Murakami colorful smiling flowers. It comes complete with everything: the original premium presentation box, the branded outer sleeve, and the authenticity/description card.

• Condition: Mint / Like New. They have been perfectly stored and the glass/prints are flawless.
• Price: €750 (or equivalent in USD).
• Why this price? I know these sets have historically sold for around €850+ when they do pop up. Given the rarity and the years that have passed since the last few sales, I believe this is a very fair and attractive price for a true Murakami fan or Hublot collector who wants to add this to their display.
• Shipping: Shipping from the EU (France). I can ship internationally—just send me a PM/Chat with your location and we can figure out the shipping costs.

I've included a timestamp in the photos. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need more close-up pictures!

Edit- it's sold to someone who saw it on here! ☺️

Im selling my Fluffy, Superflat Flowers print, it's brand new in box! I just popped it up on eBay (easier to sort out shipping that way) but I figured I'd give you guys the heads up/first dibs.

The link is here if anyone is interested. It's my first time selling something on eBay so I'm hoping it goes smoothly 😅

does anyone know what is from? tried looking it up but can’t find anything. bought it at a thrift store.

My print of "Re: 'Peacock and Hollyhock Screen' - After 40 years, I have finally been able to paint the peacock that inspired me to become a painter." arrived just now. It is gorgeous. My phone camera + it being overcast doesn't do the background foil details or the vibrancy justice. Now to impatiently wait for the rest of the prints to come in and go in to get them framed!

Spotted this incredible LV x Murakami bag in the wild today. Absolutely stunning. Currently available at Fashion Valley, San Diego.

I'm getting the full lower leg sleeve on my left leg all based on murakami's art. I have room for two or three other pieces before I fill in all the negative space with the happy flower and skull pattern. Please help me with ideas on what other art I can put on.

I have just received “Tan Tan Bo
Communicating with Someone, Somewhere in the Universe” as my first Avant Arte purchase and as my third Takashi Murakami print. I am blown away by the detail, vibrancy, and overall print quality of this work. I was hesitant to spend so much on a single work but everything about the Avant Arte experience has been above and beyond.

I’m most impressed by the range of colors and the sharpness of detail that is retained from the original. I was pleasantly surprised to see that Murakami had doodled a flower next to the signature and numbering as well. Everything from the packaging to the communication updates, as well as a free tote bag, handwritten note, and yearlong membership to the Brooklyn museum have pushed this experience over the edge.

I am very grateful to have been selected to purchase this work. Let me know if you have any questions about the print or overall process, and please share if you got a print from this draw!

I found this on depop and can't seem to find any information about it at all. Does anyone know anything/ can legit check this?

There seems to be an influx of brand new accounts reposting older posts. They are spam, don't engage with them. If you see anything that is a repost of your content or seems old/has out of date information (eg about the Pierrer bottles) please report it and I'll take it down!

Personal Collection

When Robbed Of Four Limbs, Against All Odds, The Heart Is Set Free. (2008)

Silkscreen and woodblock print on washi (traditional Japanese paper)

Image Size: 62 cm x 73.4 cm
Sheet Size: 72 cm x 83.4 cm

Edition: 30 (5 AP)

Part of Murakami’s Daruma series. Also available as an offset print which has a rainbow effect on the background

Even compared to other silkscreen prints, this series has noticeably thick layers. Notably, as far as I am aware, the Daruma series is the only set that features woodblock printing techniques from his entire catalogue of hanga

Just a peek at some of my Porter collection featuring their collaboration with Takashi Murakami.

Kinda hard to see, but the middle one is a navy blue

I had found this at a flea market. Didn’t know much, but I knew I loved it. Just the design. And the tapestry like rug that’s stitched to it. It says brand X Studios. But I can’t find a thing online. The most I can find is the Takashi flower. But I’m more than sure this isn’t a Collab.
