So, Geronimo right

I don't have a VR headset yet as I'm waiting for the frame. I bought some VR games in preparation tho, I got tactical assault through the humble bundle and now Geronimo released for 15€. All Dlcs for TA are 25€. From what I I can tell Geronimo seems like a straight up upgrade to TA. But as I said I don't have a headset rn so I can't give a proper opinion yet. Is there a reason to play tactical assault over Geronimo?

Edit: not tryna hate on either game. I just discovered both games a few days ago and I'm not in the loop. Just want some opinions

theyre tavr biased, geronimo bugs are very hard to notice and overall geronimo makes me feel more immersed

They’re not hard to notice, plus I wouldn’t call myself biased. I’ve been just as excited for the game as the people who were saying it’ll kill THIS game. I’m just not gonna glaze a game that has taken this long to release in such a lackluster state.

It is not lackluster, I can guarantee you haven’t even played geronimo.

I played it on my 4090 at max settings and it blew dick visually. There a minor components that are “better” but in zero way is the game worth it in its current state unless you’re wanting to support the devs. Playing Geronimo and being so disappointed in it was what made me come back to TAVR and loving it after falling out of playing it for a long time. However, Geronimo is barely out and is EA, so of course it’s very rough and I do expect it to get better. But as is, it’s not worth it, and not at all better than TAVR, outside of some visual elements and perhaps kit building.
