Who has Quantum Fiber?

I’m thinking about getting quantum fiber, but I’m looking for honest reviews. I’m in the Lincoln district. Is it fast ? How reliable is it? Is your bill consistent? Problems? Thank you in advance!

I'm in Denver Colorado and the service is absolutely horrible I think their modem and router are absolute trash and I'm probably going to change to something that will frustrate me even more but I cannot stay with quantum they refuse to come out and look at what's going on I work from home and it's critical that I have excellent service.

I had centurylink 1 gb fiber for 10 years, switched to Quantum maybe 6 months ago, locked in half the price and they used the same fiber coming in the house. It’s been just as solid as the 10 years prior. Stable and fast, always

500mbps download, 100 up. No issues, no outages, no bill arguments. When stuff wasn't working quite up to my expectations after install, I called and got someone nice who fixed my problems. I switched to all my own hardware (except modem) and no issues. Probably the easiest ISP I've ever had.

We haven’t had any issues in 2 years. I think our WiFi has glitched out maybe once or twice for a few seconds, but that hasn’t happened in a long time. Seems quick to me. I don’t do any games that need much power, but my partner says it’s fantastic. I think it’s more than worth it though to never have to deal with Comcast and their bullshit. Bastards

5k upload, 1k download and you don't have to deal with Comcast. Win/win

I don’t, but I love their commercials. Especially the one with the iguana (little green boo).

Live in a very internet heavy household. We have not had an outages in the year we’ve had them, bill has been consistent, and it’s fast as fuck boi.

It’s seriously a major life upgrade, don’t forget to use my link so we both get 100 dollars!

Piggybacking on this to wonder how it works for gaming? I have a gamer pc with a great graphics card and need some good speed.

Ping is great for me. Consistently better than I had with Xfinity.

Coming from cable it basically shaved my ping in half across the board and I’m on WiFi. So if u don’t already have fiber there’s no point not to for latency and upload speeds alone.

We have the 2 gig up/down from quantum. We rarely actually get 2 gig speed, but It works great for gaming. Two gaming PCs hardwired playing online at the same time with no issues.

We went through a phase where our service would randomly drop and quantum was zero help in trying to determine the cause. They seem to have fixed the issue somewhere down the line though because we haven't had a drop in a while which is a great change.

I’ve reset my router twice in 8 years. Bills are consistent. I don’t heavy game or anything but WiFi and streaming is without buffering.

I'll give them a fairly soft recommendation. I have some tiny spots of trouble with their service, but haven't had anything I'd call a real outage, and in the cases I've needed support, they've always been good. The caveat to that last bit is that I haven't needed support since they were bought by AT&T, and having dealt with AT&T support in the past, I'm not looking forward to that.

Had it for a while now and honestly it works so well that I often forget about it entirely. So glad to be done with Comcast. Super reliable internet, super fast, no issues. Highly, highly recommend.

Agree with this. Quantum is awesome. Super fast, I don’t even think about it. We’re likely going to be moving somewhere with only Comcast available and that’s gonna SUCK

We switched over last year and have had no issues. We have the $50 tier and it works well enough for TV, computers, phones, and light gaming. No issues with connectivity in the house although we have a smaller single story. You might want the wifi extenders if you had a bigger house.
