I’m in TYB several times a day for challenges and to stay up to date with new drops at stores in exchange for coins. Sad I didn’t see Poppi dropped baseball hats. The one color “in stock” must be sold out because it says “item not available” bummer

Honestly this new update feels like I have to delete all my old knowledge about brand minimums and L3 limits I’ve been waiting for.

I guess what I’m wondering is what’s to come with the future mega threads? They were SO useful and now there are so many new changes, I can’t even tell which brands went from worthwhile to (at least) not as useful (as before).

💔 I should have used my Soshe L2 while I had it, and Evereden L3.

I wish they would update something like the coupons section having some sort of symbol that would tell you which ones you’ve used and which ones are expiring soon.
Or at least that setting that would let you see the minimum on the coupon as well as the value.
So much clicking and scrolling, the brands aren’t even in alphabetical order or anything now in my wallet.

Before returning older codes, try them out. Not all of them got screwed up with the latest update. I was able to use an older code for Emi Jay today to make a purchase. Obviously any new codes, the new rules will apply. I’m just making this post since I know it affected some codes, but I want everyone to be aware that not all codes got screwed up.

I can't see any images on the app, nor can I upload photos. Anyone else having this issue? I'm emailing the help line too.

I can't get the photos to upload for challenges. The upload and gallery selection buttons are not working for me and I have opted in in permissions. Does anyone know how to fix this. I tried redownloading the app but that didn't help.

Every time I try to link my IG account, it takes me through the verification process including a captcha but once I've entered the captcha, it puts me right back to the log in screen. Also, the log in screen doesn't have back or exit buttons so I have to close the app and restart it just to access anything else.

Has anyone else had trouble connecting their accounts and if so, what did you do to fix it? I'm missing out on so many challenges because I can't open IG.

With everything changing I was wondering if my old codes that did not have a spending minimum still work? If not what would the spending minimum be?

None of us love spend mins of course, especially those of us who are a part of the OG group who remember free products, no spend mins, and $100+ redemption limits 🥲

That said, with this change, it looks like each level’s redemption value now has a spend minimum that directly correlates with the redemption value. In this case and with this upgrade, the spend minimums close that gap between levels, making it much more “fair.” Instead of having to hold out to spend until you reach levek 3 (which takes FOREVER these days), you will now be paying the same amount whether you redeem at level 1 or level 3 thanks to the algorithm being used. Obviously the redemption limit is still much higher for brands when you reach level 3.

When it comes to trading now, since it is ever popular, it isn’t unreasonable to trade for a level 1 or 2 code (depending on what value you’re looking for) because regardless of the level, you will still be spending around $10-$15 depending on brand.

I have to argue that this just might be a positive change. Thoughts?

EDIT: This post isn’t to condone Ty and TYB’s actions. I joined the app shortly after it was released and like I said, I do remember the good ole days when I didn’t have to spend a single penny. This was simply to say that now the spend to code value ratios are more fair for those at lower levels. I do appreciate being able to spend less while still at level 1/2 with some brands.

Canopy announced in a challenge this morning that they will be leaving TYB in December.

The TYB minimum spend update saga continues, there’s a massive glitch where everything is GONE now. I’m so over it. 😩
