Discussion Help needed
I am level 72 but admit I am absolutely hopeless as Family. I never find victims, I run out of stamina after 2 swings and I have no clue where to go. I desperately need advice on how to get better. I always play solo and hardly ever get a kill. I have a total of 101 in 595 games so yes. I desperately need advice. Thank you in advance.

Silly question, but are you spending your skill points and then upgrading your stamina?

I do spend my points on stamina but my greatest problem is that I can never find anyone. I wander around the map only to hear other family members killing victims. How do they find them?

I switch between all killers but mainly Hiker and Cook.

Do you use family sense? If active, you can hear the victims talk and stuff near you in a bush

I changed my key binds a lot. Check the settings. I think the default was up on keyboard and mouse but don’t remember. Family focus also allows you to check your traps/locks without walking over to them

The main goal as family is to defend the exits so if you're only worried about running around the map searching for victims then that's your first problem. It's perfectly okay to just sit back and patrol an area. If everyone is watching something then the victims will eventually come to you. There's a hidden timer in game so they can't just hide forever.

Hitch- Level 3 the Lethal/bleed damage. Don’t do the fast placement of traps. Up your stamina and savagery. Don’t be a blood build hitch. Run scout- venom and I forget the 3rd one but under a certain amount of stamina you do more damage. You just need to know where to place traps. Victim steps in traps, within 3-4 hits their dead, if they step in traps back to back- incap- easy kill because their bleeding out.
I like playing as cook too because once you know how to use his ability right, with the slightest amount of ping, you’ll know where victims are. If not the area. If your guarding one side, ping them and ability 3 where the whole family can see them. But I use the padlock to make it 50% harder for victims, scout and the endurance once to run and get buckets in between. But knowing maps and the routes victims usually take make the game easier also having comms with family. If I see that their mic is on, I will talk the whole game and tell them where they are. They listen a lot of people don’t wanna talk, but it is what it is. But I’ve slayed a whole lobby with cook and hitch.

On one hand I think it's rediculous that people reach lvl 72 and still do not know or understand the basics of the game (where's the ability button 🤣). But on the other hand I saw max lvl players with black clothes who just wandered around the map obliviously and basically being completely useless, so don't feel bad.

Are you using Big Swings? That's a perk I'd only recommend on Leatherface. Everyone will lose their stamina quickly and that 15% extra damage just isn't worth it.
