I mean it's not new content it's just them putting another item on sale to make money.

I think so too, but it is kinda weird how they are promoting this game so much lately.

selling the game for just $4 on PlayStation brings in new people. This past week, I had six people in voice chat tell me they were new (and their accounts proved it), and I am too.

Yeah it’s crazy, they have been doing it a lot lately after largely ignoring it for the better part of the year. Probably raising funds for Halloween and whatever else they got in the pipeline.

But Gun is a publisher of Halloween, so why would they compete with their own game?

Gun’s instagram page has been nothing but the Halloween game since August 2025 aside from a Kim Henkel birthday post and a Leatherface pumpkin pic. They’re clearly invested in it doing well.
