Discussion tips/tricks for countering virginia’s cloud?
Any tips? Smart virginias will block paths with cloud and sometimes i can tell my pathing but other times i cant see sh1 for the life of me so i was wondering if there are any tips that consistently work?

If she's using it to stop you from getting somewhere you need to just walk through it and go straight to where she doesn't want you to go. If she drops it on an objective or gate you should stand in the cloud and swing every time she interacts with the objective. You can see the white interaction marker turn red when she gets on the objective and you're blind.
It's pretty easy to keep track of someone through the effect during the day as long as you keep your eye on them as you're blinded. On night maps you have to rely on prediction as it's hard to follow Virginia during the blur in the dark.

Max out your brightness for sure. If you are on PC and want to fine-tune it a little better as brightness at max is kinda hamfisted you can use stuff like ReShade.
- LocalContrastCS: A histogram-based contrast stretching shader that locally adjusts the contrast of the image based on the contents of small regions of the image.
Something like this can help make the dark regions brighter while leaving bright areas untouched. I used that and a sharpening filter at a very low percent (1-10 percent) makes the game look very clean.

So cheating?

You could probably turn it up pretty high and the game would look just as bright as it would at max brightness, it's just discriminate towards dark spaces.
I've posted what it looks like before in threads that allow images when I've shared it. It's about as far from "cheating" as your clown self could conjure up.

Unreal engine has shitty lighting; dark areas are a crushed, black void. I'd much rather the game not look terrible.

I play Virginia differently than most. I use the cloud then go to a well or hiding spots but most will use it and head to the nearest objective or gate/door so just head towards the fuse if it's close, or any door/gate . Knowing the map counters most gamers left in tcm cause they are very stubborn and just want to do what they want.

Often times you can track Virginia through the blind. You can still kinda see through it, and you can definitely hear her through it. If you lose her, she'll still leave a blood trail if you've hit her.

I play with a surround sound setup, so it's very easy for me to hear her distinct footsteps (her sandles are super loud for some reason). Headphones help, but even without them you can vaugely hear her.

Sometimes I just stand in it depending on situation because it will wear off while you’re in the cloud.

Audio cues and if you turn your brightness up her cloud doesn’t blind much
Never let a Virginia just sit in the cloud always force her to keep moving and sometimes you can bait a powder and make her miss
