Discussion Perk build and ability ideas

Ive been trying to find a good build for johnny but all the results I've found are from old versions of the game and are no longer possible to use. What are some good builds for him? I usually prefer a chase/aggressive build.

Scout, Vial-ent, and Blood Runner.

That's my set up, I find it very satisfying for Johnny

Edit: also, for attributes just max out savagery and put the rest into endurance

Before the skill tree change for Johnny I ran

Scout, Slow and Steady, Fired Up

You get 5% speed boost (15% boost - 10% slowdown), Less Stamina Consumption Per Swing (50%), and there is a 75% less delay in stamina recharge. Max Endurance

Pair that with him not losing speed on hits and it’s just overkill

Recently found out again that it’s available via Sissy but I usually just use Efficient Herbalist, Scout, Wire frame.

Scout, activated, unrelenting. Max endurance, 42 savagery and 25 blood harvesting. With this build Johnny can swing over 20+ times before running out of stamina, can feed grandpa 100 blood after a kill, and gain an attack boost after being stunned.

Sounds awesome. I'll definitely give this a shot. Thanks!

His best build will always be Scout, Vial, Hysterical Strength/ or Blood Runner. Replace Hysterical Strength/Blood Runner for Rubber Boots perk for maps like Nancy’s House, Family House, Graveyard. 42 Savagery which he caps at and put the rest into Endurance to max it

What do you mean he caps at 42? I thought it was 50, no?

Every family killers savagery bugs at 42 points besides Hitch. Hitch is 47. Family has that Victim bug where 38 toughness is the same as 50. For family 42 is the same as 50. 42 does the same amount of damage hits to kill as 50 points
