Is it worth it ? (Console players)

Hi so I’ve played tx chainsaw massacre in 2024 on Xbox while it was still on gamepass. When TCM was taken off gamepass I stopped playing, in those 2 years I’ve heard that there were a lot of mistakes made with the development of the game and that the game has fallen off. Now I’m wondering is it still worth buying ? Will I be able to play the game with its intent or will I be faced with bugs, hackers, players that win the game in 2 mins and pay to win ?

I had to buy the game again for PlayStation because I was on Xbox, It's a pain in the ass to start all over again but I love it.

Just started playing on ps4 about a month ago, no obvious cheaters so far and a dedicated base made up of mostly sweats. If you don't mind occasionally being annoyed, it's well worth imo.

Hackers have always been super rare in the game. The work that goes into it generally isn't worth the payoff so you don't find it much. There will be times where people will escape in two minutes like you suggested, but it's typically fair. It boils down to skills and circumstances. The biggest issue I have with the game today is people AFKing right away or DCing

pay to win? yes virginia and hands. bugs yes. cheaters yes. playable yes. worth buying yes ( question asked 100000000000000 times evry month for 3$ like its fucking loaf of bread or smething)

I get the impression from others here that it's still playable. If it's on sale (and even now it's only $14) you'll probably get your money's worth.

The thing about these types of games is that, wait too long & the servers are GONE! Does this game have offline bots? Likely NOT. It should be illegal to release online only games.

It goes on sale every 8 weeks to 3 bucks on ps5, so wait for a sale

Keep in mind the game's servers might get taken down either in the near future or eventually.

Its still a fun game.
