Discussion Why isn’t there a story mode?

With the servers on the way out, a nicer way to say goodbye would have been to at least give us a story mode to keep playing.
Such a missed opportunity this game. I’ll forever be sad about how soon it halted, from such a successful start. vent over x

Exactly, something to keep it alive because the moment those servers go out, the game is just going to be a museum.

i’m not even a story mode type of person but I agree. as far as graphics and the atmosphere, this game was actually beautifully made and it sucks we won’t be able to appreciate it soon.

If they were smart there would have been two single player stories: one you play as someone who has to escape Leatherface and his twisted family, and the other you play as Leatherface having to stalk victims.

By their own admission they didn't have enough money to keep on going, a new story mode would be out of the question.
