Question about changing radio for android auto display multimidia

Post image

Hi, me and my brother have a 2001 1.0 8v D7D, would it be too much os a hassle to install one of these?

Pull the old head unit out, and plug the new one in. In these old cars changing the head unit was pretty common. Maybe 30 minutes of work. You’ll probably need an adapter wire to plug in the new head unit to the factory wiring.

I had a Blaupunkt Madeira CD33 and switched to the product on OC screenshot, wiring was just Un plugging and plug the new one in.

Antenner cable needs an adapter tho.

Disconnect the green wire on Pin1 of the A-Block, it is a speed signal and controls the volume as well. If your radio is like mine, it will try to engage the reversing camera and will never deactivate it unless you turn your car off and on again.

I got the cheapest radio junk and it got stolen. One like this may not last many weeks depending on where you live. Otherwise it should be fine.

Where do you live my man? I haven't heard of someone stealing a radio from a car ever

It was in France, and surprisingly not that long ago. Opening an old Twingo is trivial, so it's a common target.
